Principal’s Welcome

On behalf of our Pastor, Fr. Brett Garland, and our entire faculty and staff I want to welcome you to St. Mary School!  We are blessed as a St. Mary Community to bring back our parish and community together, especially after difficult times with the pandemic this past year.  St. Mary School was established in 1884 and is the center of beautiful Delaware, Ohio.  When you and your child walk through the doors, you will experience a warm, welcoming community of faith and strong Catholic identity.  Our excellent faculty and staff not only strive for academic excellence, but are called to serve others and utilize our gifts and talents to ensure academic student achievement.  St. Mary School offers a strong blend of faith formation and integrated academics, as well as, co-curricular activities throughout the school and the parish.  Our graduates are among the most successful and move on to area high schools very well-prepared.  We offer activities such as athletics, various clubs, music, band, arts, student council and other activities to enhance your child’s educational experience.  The teachers  have many years of service in educating students and are committed to providing the best education in the Catholic faith in a nurturing and a high-quality instructional environment.  We invite you to see what St. Mary has to offer and see what makes this school a wonderful place to learn and grow through God and the Catholic faith.  If you have any questions or would like to schedule a tour of our school, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We welcome you into our St. Mary community and I look forward to meeting you and your family.
