Dear St. Mary Families,
One of the most important truths in Catholic education is that parents are the primary educators of their children.
Our teachers have the privilege of spending many hours each week teaching, encouraging, correcting, and accompanying your children. But the deepest formation of a child begins in the family—in the habits you build, the conversations you have, the faith you practice, and the example you give.
This becomes especially important as we begin receiving more information about student progress.
Grades, assessments, and interim reports can help us identify where a child is growing and where additional support may be needed. But they should always begin a conversation, not define a child.
The strongest education happens when family and school work together, asking not simply: “How can we improve this grade?” but instead, “What does this child need in order to grow?”
Thank you for entrusting your children to us and for allowing St. Mary to partner with you in their formation.
