St. Mary School, located at 66 E William Street in Delaware, is seeking a 5/6 or 7/8 Middle School Math & Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will guide students in developing logical reasoning, mathematical fluency, and scientific curiosity within a classical framework that emphasizes order, wonder, and careful observation of the natural world.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong content knowledge in math and science, values clear instruction and mastery, and is eager to integrate faith and reason. Experience with classical education or a willingness to grow in classical pedagogy is preferred.

Requirements:

• Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
• Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
• Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God’s Children training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
