The annual Grandparents Day and Lunch is Friday, September 6th. This annual event is a great opportunity for us as a school to recognize Grandparents. The sign-up form and money will be due August 30th. If grandparents are out of town, students can still participate in the lunch and eat with their friends or other grandparents. Students may also pack their lunch if they’d like. There will be no cafeteria meal served besides the Grandparents Lunch. The $5 fee per special guest is due with the registration form. SPO is purchasing each student’s lunch for the event, THANK YOU SPO!! Parking is extremely limited on this day…please plan ahead especially if your guests are not able to walk from off site. Lastly, just a reminder that the St. Mark’s Parking lot to the west of the school is rented by the City during the day and the Doctor’s Office has patients and can not be used for parking during the school day.
Time: Mass at 9:45. Lunch from 10:30-12:15 pm. First group A-L will be served at 10:30. Second group M-Z will be served at 11:30. Students will be allowed to take their grandparents to tour the school and visit their classrooms during the Lunch window.
Early Dismissal at 1pm. If you plan on having alternative transportation home after the event please provide a note to the office so we can monitor and plan accordingly.
