Alison Scalfano is in her second year as the 4th grade teacher at St. Mary’s. Her favorite part of her first year teaching was getting to know the unique personalities of each student and watching them grow. Before jumping into teaching she spent 3 years serving as a missionary at Damascus Catholic Mission Campus and volunteered as a Core Team member for youth group at St. Mary’s. She loves to dance, play piano, and sing. She loves to be outside especially if it involves watching the sunset or looking at the stars. Her favorite saint has always been St. Therese of Lisieux and her favorite bible passage is the vine and the branches (John 15).
