I grew up in Bellbrook, Ohio, and married my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 36 years! Growing up, I was a gymnast and started coaching gymnastics at the age of 14, continuing until 2018. I received my B.S. from the University of Dayton and my M.S. from the University of South Carolina. We have two wonderful sons. I have always had a passion for teaching, which led us to homeschool both of our sons from preschool through high school. Our oldest is now a robotics engineer, and our youngest is a regional manager for a natural gas compressor company.
