My name is Julie Means and I am the 6th grade homeroom teacher. I am honored to be returning this year to Saint Mary School for my third year. We had a very successful year last year in 6th-7th grade. We completed many assignments, fulfilled many standards, and had fun at the same time. This year we are in for the same exciting time.
I am a graduate of Pickerington High School. I have a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree from the Ohio State University. My major is in English with a minor in Communications. I am continuing my education in the Bachelors Plus- One Graduate Degree Program at Ashland University for Gr. 7-12 certification. I have over 20 years of experience in the corporate arena, higher education, and library science fields.
My husband, Timothy, and I have raised our two children in Delaware. We have been parishioners at St. Mary Church for 23 years. Meghan and Patrick are graduates of Saint Mary School. Meghan is a junior studying political science at Ohio Wesleyan University. Patrick is a freshman at Ohio State University.
I was a parent representative on the School Advisory Board and a representative on the SPO board for a combination of 5 years at St. Mary School. I also was a Girl Scout Leader and parent volunteer.
I look forward to an exciting, challenging, and fun year ahead. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at jmeans@cdeducation.org.
