A welcome from Mr. Pfeifer: “We are also excited to welcome Mark Venzor, who will be teaching 6th Grade Math this year. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to enjoy many conversations with Mr. Venzor about our shared commitment to excellent education and high expectations for students. He will be a wonderful role model for our middle school students and a steady presence for our rising fifth graders as they begin their transition into middle school. Mr. Venzor will teach first period in Room 209.”
Mark Venzor, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and U.S. Navy veteran, is excited to continue his involvement in the St. Mary School community as the new 6th-grade math teacher. With three master’s degrees and more than 25 years of leadership and mentoring experience in the military, corporate, nonprofit, and youth STEM programs, Mark brings both expertise and a genuine passion for helping others learn and grow.
Mark already has deep ties to St. Mary as a substitute teacher, lunchtime volunteer, and parent of two students. He looks forward to helping students build confidence and curiosity in mathematics through critical thinking and real-world problem-solving while partnering with parents and faculty to support each child’s success.
Outside the classroom, Mark and his family enjoy practicing Taekwondo, spending time at the pool, and cheering on each other at extracurricular activities.
Go Navy! Go Bucs!
