Hello! My name is Mary Utt, and I am so very excited to meet you and all of your children! Working with children has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and the opportunity to now connect both education and faith within one setting, as well as work with the cutest, brightest little minds each and every day has me feeling so blessed. I am the oldest (and the only daughter) in a large, Catholic family, and having to take charge over all my little brothers was probably something that inspired all of my passions!
I attended Catholic schooling from preschool all the way through high school right here in Columbus, Ohio, and I have experience working at Saint Agatha during their after-school and daycare programs. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Science, and took special interest in developmental psychology throughout my time there. The formation of tiny minds has always been what draws me in the most! I have a few years of teaching experience, working with children ages 5 all the way down to zero. Curriculum planning has always been a passion of mine as well, and a fun, interactive curriculum with hands-on learning through play has always been a backbone for me with all the children I have worked with.
I currently live in Dublin, Ohio with my two dogs and two cats. On the weekends and in my free time I love to take my doggies out exploring, spend time with my friends and family, and, funny enough, spend time learning! One of my most favorite pastimes is either watching documentaries or reading; learning new things everyday is something I absolutely love, and I’m sure was a huge driver for me finding my career in education.
I look forward to meeting you and all of your children, and I look forward to a wonderful school year!
