Volunteer

We love our volunteers! It is through our parents and parishioners that we are able to fully support our teachers and staff as they work hard to educate your children.

To become a volunteer, please:

    1. Let us know you’re interested!
    2. Complete the Protecting God’s Children class for the Diocese of Columbus
Protecting God’s Children is training conducted by VIRTUS® certified facilitators on the prevention of child sexual abuse. The training makes participants aware of the signs of child sexual abuse, the methods and means by which offenders commit abuse, and five easy steps one can use to prevent child sexual abuse.
You can sign up for a VIRTUS class here by registering for an account and selecting ‘Live Training’ in the left-hand menu. These sessions are free and last about two hours.
    3. Complete a Criminal Background Check
If you have been a resident of the State of Ohio for less than five years, you are required to have both a BCI and an FBI background check. Residents of more than five years are only required to only have a BCI background check.
The Delaware Police Department will process your fingerprints for a nominal fee. Please contact them for further information. Search for other background check location options here.

We are continuing to build our new volunteer system. As teachers build their own events and needs we will make sure to share those with you to sign-up and assist as well.
