Position Summary:
An employee in this position will assist in our 3-6 yr. old class under the Lead Primary Teacher. Supports Montessori Primary Teachers in serving students as well as parents.
Applicant must have the ability to guide/direct, monitor and supervise any age group of students utilizing prescribed Montessori training and techniques. Must have the ability to adapt to the needs of the students and the community. Maintain and foster positive and constructive interaction with students and parents. Ensure and assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment. In the afternoon, applicant is the assisting the Kindergarten classroom. Participates in special events. Normal work hours from 7:30-3:30 M-F; mid-August to end of May.

Key Responsibilities:
Guide and nurture students using Montessori principles in a safe, prepared environment
Supervise students at all times, ensuring safety, well-being, and smooth activity transitions
Communicate warmly with parents while respecting confidentiality
Respond to emergencies and maintain sanitary and attendance standards
Support classroom and facility upkeep; assist with cleaning and maintenance
Attend staff meetings, events, and trainings; take on additional duties as needed
